14-19s

Why 14 to 19 ?

The Welsh Assembly Government is committed to transforming 14-19 provision in Wales, with the aim of making 95% of young people (up to age 25) ready for high skilled employment or higher education by 2015.

To achieve this Learning Pathways 14-19 have been set up to provide flexible education for 14-19 year olds which gives them a wider range of experience and options through a mix of support and guidance, traditional GCSEs and A Levels and vocational learning at both schools and colleges like Coleg Glan Hafren.

Five options for 14-19 year olds
