Step 1

Pick up our brochure or look at our website and find the course(s) you are interested in. If you would like help doing this you can:

• Look at the Course Information Sheets on our website
• Ring or call into our Advice Shop: The telephone number is 02920 250400 and we are open Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 4.00pm

Step 2

Once you have chosen a course you will need to fill out an application form if you're a school leaver or applying for a full-time course, or an adult who wishes to study a part-time Access, Hair & Beauty or Childcare course. If you’ve chosen any other part-time courses, skip to Step 3.

• Print and hand write on a PDF application form from our website
• Save and type on a Word application form from our website. Please note, this will take a few moments to load and you will have to enable macros to type on it.
• Ask for an application form to be posted to you by ringing our Advice Shop
• Call into any of our college buildings to pick up a form
• If you are not exactly sure which course you would like to apply for you can write down more than one choice on your application form
• Some courses are very popular and fill up very quickly, so apply as early as you can once you know what course you want to do
• Send your completed form to Coleg Glan Hafren, Trowbridge Road, Cardiff, CF3 1XZ or via email to applications@glan-hafren.ac.uk

Step 3

• If you already have the qualifications or experience to get onto your chosen course(s) you may not need an interview. We will write to you to let you know when to enrol at college.
• If you do not have the qualifications or experience to get on to your chosen course(s) we may ask you to come to college for an interview. We will write to you to let you know if you need to come to college for your interview.

Step 4

Come in for enrolment

• If you are paying for your course you will be expected to pay the fees at your enrolment
• You will be told when your course starts and given information about your induction to the college
