Course summary:

This one year Information Technology [IT] course is designed for those very new to computers (IT) and focuses on the practical introduction to both software and hardware. 

As well as concentating on improving your basic skills in numeracy and literacy you will also be taught a range of different entry units such as:

  • Health & Safety
  • Information Technology
  • Managing Money
  • Introduction to word processing
  • Introduction to Internet & E-Mail
  • Introduction to computers
  • Introduction to handling data
