Errata

This is a list of amendments to the prospectus since design and printing:

Page 5 - Term times

Start date for Autumn term teaching should be Mon 14/09/2009.

Post half-term Summer teaching end date should be Fri 25/06/2010

A Level Section

Page 35 - GCSE Italian is now held on Wednesday evenings

Page 35 - GCSE Maths revision runs from 5.45 to 8.45

Page 36 - Short languages courses offered in conjunction with UniGlam will not be running in 2009/2010.

Pages 37 & 38 - Chemistry and Biology will not be offered at AS Level in the evening from Sept 2009, but will be offered as evening fast-track A Levels. Chemistry A Level will now be offered on the Tuesday night and Biology A Level will be offered on the Thursday night.

Page 37 - Design & Technology is run in partnership with Fitzalan

Page 37 - ICT is not offered at GCSE

Page 37 - Photography is now also offered at AS Level on Thursday evenings from 5-8pm 

Page 38 - Psychology AS Level is not being offered on Monday evenings

Page 38 - Welsh AS Level is not being offered

Page 38 - World Development Studies is also being offered in the daytime

Page 42 - Textile Design. Studio fee has been reduced. View the updates studio fee on the Textile Design course detail sheet.

Business & Professional Section

Page 57 - Business BTEC Introductory Diploma has the new title of Business, Retail and Administration and has more course content described.

Page 58 - The Principles in Retail course will not be running for 2010/2011.

Page 60 - Computerised Book-keeping Level 1 course cost is now £170

Page 60 - Computerised Book-keeping Level 2 course is now called Computerised Accounting and costs £170.

Page 60 - CIPD / CIPP course cost is now £750.

Page 60 - Business and Management Foundation Degree will not be running. 

Creative & Digital Section

Page 67 - The UniGlam courses Make Your Own Commercial Music and Make Your Own Music CD will not be running in 2009/2010.

Page 69 - Creative Industries (Music Entrepreneurship) Foundation Degree has changed its name to Popular Music Technology Foundation Degree.

Page 70 - BTEC Entry Certificate in Skills for Working Life, Information and Communication Technology is taught at Trowbridge

Page 70 - IT at Work course is taught at Trowbridge.

Lifelong Learning Section

Page 77 - The Open Door programme has now been split into a Return to Learn course, which is mainly a level 1 course and the mainly level 2 course, the Adult Foundation course (which is listed on page 78 of the brochure).

Page 79 - Access to Social Welfare - this course is offered at Trowbridge and MAC (Michaelston Adult Centre) 

Sport & Community Studies

Page 82 - Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools lvl2 fee has changed.

Page 82 - Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools lvl3 fee has changed.

Page 88 - The NVQ Introduction to Catering offers the NVQ Level 1 in Hospitality.
