The Automotive Engineering department at Coleg Glan Hafren is the leading centre in Wales for the Institute of the Motor Industry and Ford UK.

Due to our excellent industry links, we offer a wide range of Foundation Modern Apprenticeship courses, resulting in Level 2 qualifications which can lead to a Modern Apprenticeship course resulting in a Level 3 qualification.

You can enrol onto one or our courses if you are a school leaver or employed.

We also offer Full Time Courses, Day Release & Block Release.

Construction Technologies

The Construction Technologies section of the Faculty produces people ready and qualified to work on the properties and businesses changing the South Wales skyline. Courses are led by staff with a wealth of industry experience, passing on their knowledge in well-equipped workshops and classrooms at the Trowbridge campus.

This area of work in Coleg Glan Hafren has a high pedigree. We are acknowledged as a:

Most of the courses are offered as part-time day and block release courses, but we also offer full-time courses.
