The Business and Professional Section offers a range of full and part-time courses for students.Most of these courses are at the city centre campus, so you can easily fit your studies around your job or where you live.

Full-time vocational Business and Accountancy courses provide students with relevant skills which meet the needs of local employers or enable students to progress to university.

There is also an Executive Office Suite for some Executive Office and Business students to gain vital experience in a real office environment.

Students can achieve qualifications from NVQ levels 1-4.

Hair, Beauty & Holistics

Hair, Beauty and Holistics is a dynamic, progressive department, within the Faculty of Business and Professional Services, whose mission is to provide all students with the experience and training necessary to be industry-ready at the end of their course.

The college has a well established four storey commercial salon, the Design Academy in Castle Arcade, Central Cardiff, where students train.

Coleg Glan Hafren’s Hair, Beauty and Holistics Department only uses the highest-quality products and is supported by Dermalogica, Goldwell and Tisserand.

Coleg Glan Hafren Hairdressing Department has won the prestigious GOLDWELL Beacon Award and was awarded with a Grade One by Estyn, the highest grade possible, during the college inspection that took place in April 2008.
