Financial Support
There is a wide range of financial support available. The amount of help depends on your age, whether you’re studying full or part time, how long you’ve been living in the UK (evidence of status in the UK may be required) and your financial circumstances. Financial support for students is available from two main sources:
- from within the College - Student Financial Support Fund
- from external agencies - cash grants called the Education Maintenance Allowance (for students under 19), or the ‘Assembly Learning Grant’ (for students aged 19+).
The financial support offered aims to help students who are claiming state benefits or on low income.
